Study in France – Scholarships in France for international students

There is no doubt in France being one of the world’s most popular study abroad destinations. Its higher education institutes, specialization, and high standards of living attract many international students. One of the main reasons to drop studying in France is the High expenses of studying abroad. So to solve this problem. Here we have mentioned some of the  Scholarships in France for international students. 

Government-funded scholarships to study in France

  • Eiffel Scholarship Program of Excellence – It is for international students to pursue their Masters and Ph.D. in France. Students must be admitted in law, economics and management, engineering, or political science in any University in France. The universities select and apply for the scholarships on behalf of their students. 
  • Erasmus + – This scholarship is managed by the European Commission.  The program offers financial support while studying in France. It provides grants towards living costs when participating in an exchange system in a European country. Erasmus+ also offers mobility scholarships from and to France. 
  • MAKE OUR PLANET GREAT AGAIN (MOPGA) – The MOPGA scholarship is offered by joint efforts of (MEAE) and (MESRI) to international students. Successful students get a grant of 1,190 Euros per month. 

Non-government scholarships to study in France

  • The Fulbright Scholarship – The Fulbright Scholarship is for international graduates who want to study for a master’s or a Ph.D. in a French university. This scholarship program offers 20 grants annually and funds 8 to 10 months of studying in France. 
  • Civil Society Leadership Awards (CSLA) – The CSLA provides fully-funded awards for students studying for master’s degrees. The individuals should demonstrate commitment to leading positive social change in their communities. They must also present academic and professional excellence. 

University-specific scholarships to study in France

  • Emile Boutmy Scholarship  –  Students who want to study at Sciences Po university can get the benefit from these scholarships. It is for non-European students who wish to pursue their Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree & Post Doctoral Degree in France. 
  • ENS International Selection Scholarships – École Normale Supérieure International Selections Scholarship is a Master Degree scholarship in Humanities, Arts, & Sciences. The total number of scholarships is 20 each year and will be awarded to selected students. Successful students will be awarded a 1,000 euro per month grant for 3 years and a room in one of the ENS campuses. 
  • Ampère Excellence Scholarships for International Students – Ampere Scholarships of Excellence is for international students at ENS de Lyon. These scholarships offer 1,000 euros per month for up to two years, for international students wishing to pursue one of the eligible Master’s programs at ENS de Lyon.  You will have to get admission in one of the Arts or the Human and Social Sciences subjects. 
  • INSEAD MBA Scholarships- This scholarship is for MBA Degree holders. Students must demonstrate excellent professional and personal achievements, with a commitment to contribute to the breadth of diversity on the program. The scholarship’s value ranges from $5,000 to $25,000. 
  • Université Paris-Saclay International Master’s Scholarships – The Université Paris-Saclay awards 160 scholarships to foreign students enrolled in its study programs at the master’s level. All-Academic Courses are available except Clinical Medical courses. The scholarship is worth 10,000 EUR per annum and a maximum of 1,000 EUR for traveling and a Student Visa for France expenses. 
  • HEC Paris MBA Scholarships– This scholarship is offered by HEC Paris. Students must come from an Asian or African country affected by a natural disaster, drought, or famine. He/ she must be able to demonstrate a commitment to solving some of the social and economic issues affecting their countries while working for the long-term security of the people living there. The scholarship is worth 6,000 EUR to 24,000 EUR.
  • Grenoble Institute of Technology Foundation Scholarships – This Scholarship program is offered by the Grenoble Institute of Technology Foundation for international students. This is only for those students who wish to pursue an international master’s program at Grenoble INP. The scholarship funds around 5,000 euros per semester. Duration is 2 years. The program will be taught in English. 
  • MIEM Excellence Scholarship – IdEx Université de Paris introduced the MIEM Excellence Scholarship in Paris.  There is no registration fee to get enrolled in this Scholarship. Students from any country can apply for this MIEM Excellence Scholarship.

Most of the colleges/universities in France help international students by offering them scholarships to reduce their study abroad expenses.
